It looks like a simplistic, no frills vest. Originally sold for $20. Maybe it's discontinued or something. I don't think they could sell them at any price if there were too many reports of performance failure, I think they'd be forced to recall them. I think they'd be better than using nothing at all though.

When mine fall off the pier into the water, I don't know if it's enjoyment! Lol. They do like the kayak and the boat, or maybe they just like being with me??? No, they do like to do things... have adventures.

When my mom died 3 months ago, her home was given to me. The dh and I have to make the decision to move and fix it up. It's a great house, and it is only 2 miles from where I presently live. The only drawback is that it is located on a creek and the mosquitoes are HUGE and PLENTIFUL! I really don't think I could handle it. It would take a lot of spraying to control them and I wouldn't feel comfortable letting the Boopster out to play later in the day. They will literally swarm you. So, where I live now is still looking mighty good to me! We have a lake about 2 miles from us, but we never go there. If we had a boat, it would be a different story, though. Instead, we just bought an RV and are planning to travel away from the area a lot more. |
Aw, that's a shame about your Mom's house. I wish you luck on your decision. As the bugs have gotten worse in later years, we are considering putting up a screen house closer to the water so we can enjoy more time outside. Half of the sprays I've bought don't phase them at all! I'll be making bug suits for the pups, lol!
