Haha! Let me be real: We live at the end of a creek, our boating activities rely soley on the tides (we get stuck in the mud if we leave or come home at the wrong time), and it's a muddy bottom in front of the house...if I fall in and try to stand up, I'd be up to my knees and stuck in the mud! So for swimming for humans, we have to go somewhere, like to the island. We can fish off the pier (I don't eat anything I catch due to pollution), but we have to pay attention and stay out of the water when the bacteria counts get too high. Not good for the doggies either. But it does look pretty, and we haven't been flooded in 50 years, so I'm not complaining!
Oh and the mosquitoes will run me out of here or eat me alive one day! Lol!
