I cannt help you with the disappearing poop,but the GNC brand calbooster (if it is the one I used) looks likd tar and smells almost as bad. I purchased some for our 70lb very old dog and he refused to eat it. On the list of ingredients the first was "vegetable oil",no wonder he didn't like it.
Hang in there on the pottie training. Your baby is just that,a baby and will improve over time. Mina came to me at 12 weeks and is now 6 months. I can count the accidents that she has had on one hand and they have all been because I got busy and lost track of time,didnt take her out on time. She is now learning to go to the door and hopefully bark to tell me she needs out.
