I feel so badly for you. Having her since she was 12 weeks and now she is 6 yrs old is a long time . Then having to give her up , I absolutely could not do it. I would first try family members and close friends to take her in . A year does not sound too long after having a dog for 6yrs already. I would even try to look at my schedule and do some rearrangeing if I could .
A rescue would take really good care of her, and someone on YT may be able to help you out. rehome her to a YT member is better then a rescue. I hope that she goes to a good home with lots of love and attention.
