The best would be if you can self foster her until someone adopts her.

The good news is that there are many many people looking for a sweet little yorkie girl so it shouldn't be too hard to place her.

Please PM me if there is an emergency as I will help in any way I can ( even if it might be a temporary foster situation). I just placed our last foster ( a 4lb Maltese) and we have room for another.
I have 2 small breed dogs that are very spoiled and well taken care of and 2 small children - both know how to be gentle and your baby would be safe. I stay at home most of the day and know what tiny doggies need
Both of my dogs are docile and the younger one is very much an omega personality - they are both used to living with guest dogs and would share their space, yard and love.

Please stay away from Craigslist people and bargain hunters - unfortunately there are many that will take even an older dog that looks small and cute and sell him as a puppy the next day to unsuspecting families - disgusting!
Thank you so much for offering to help. It was very kind of you. I will keep that in mind in case of emergency.

It has never entered my mind that many people gave up their dog during "vacation season." That's terrible. I will keep her at a boarding facility while I am away till the end of summer. The most important thing is that she gets the best shot at finding a wonderful family.

I also did not know people would pretend to love her and then turn around and try to profit from her. That's awful. Before I read your post, I was mostly worrying about people not willing to provide medical care if she ever needs it (thank goodness she hasn't need any medical attention but they are like kids and they will need it at some point). You are right. Since she is not for sell, it would attract all kind of people. I will have to be very careful. Thank you for the advice.
