^^I agree, Nutri Cal or white Karo. No need for daily supplementation. Use only when the pup has symptoms of hypoglycemia.
No seasonings or salt. These are bad for your pup, and potentially very harmful.
At 8 weeks old, it's difficult to regulate the pup's system to get them on a pooping schedule, especially if they are on the smaller side. You may consider piddle pads.
