Oh my gosh this reminds me of a time when my sister asked me to cut her 5 yr old sons hair. So in the process of cutting his hair in a much shorter cut for summer I asked her " Do you want me to cut his ear out?"..... and oh my he went nuts... started crying and took off running from me holding his hands over his ears and yelling
"no no dont cut my ear, I need them to hear"
The kid actually thought I was going to cut his ear off!!
