My little guy turned 16 weeks today and my little girl will be 14 weeks on wednesday. Abby does great when I leave, Max, ahh, he fusses on and off until I return. On the weekends I have been putting them in their area for a few hours while I do some stuff around the house. Abby goes to her little bed and naps, Max splits his time between his bed and the gate, fussing on and off the entire time.

Their puppy space is the master bathroom and they can see me when I go to bed. After the first week, they have been sleeping pretty well during the night. We have been waking up at 4:45 every day to play before I go to work.

The first few nights I went into the bathroom for about 30 minutes every two hours and sat with them (now I have a flat butt!). I thought Abby would be the fussy one since she was younger, but I was so wrong.

When I got my other Yorkie she was younger, just over 8 weeks, and had some issues being alone at night. I ended up making a pallet on the floor and we slept together for the first few weeks. Poppy used to crawl up on the pillow and curl up so she was touching me. She blossomed into a wonderfully self-confident little dog.

Good luck with your little guy. I am sure he will settle in soon.
