I was told by my vet that NutriCal is 2% vitamins and 98% empty calories. So the only time is use it is if Syd throws up and I want to get a little something back in her stomach.
The vet also told me that she gets all the vitamins she needs from her food, but I still give a small portion of fruit or veggie each day to give a little extra. Syd loves them and her coat is much more shiny since we started that. |
