Oh I am so glad I found this thread. My little Abby is 14 weeks old. I got her and Max (16 weeks old) two weeks ago. Abby likes to eat her poop - mmm, mmm, mmm - she just seems to love it - YUCK!

I watch them both like a hawk when they start the potty walking so I can praise when they go on the potty pad and praise them. I have a dog sitter that is coming in every weekday for an hour mid-day to visit with them and clean up their mess.

I have started waking up at 3am to check the bathroom (puppy area) for Abby pebbles. She tends to poop around that time - I can hear her walking on the potty pad.

When she first came home, her stools were a little loose, but they are pretty much normal now. She seemed to really like the soft stools. Ew! but still tried to eat the regular ones. I am pretty thankful that she just seems to like her poop and has not started eating Max's poop. But I am concerned that Max may decide he wants to eat poop too.

My vet was not really concerned, but said I could try some FOR-BID and gave me a packet. I am going to pick up some canned pineapple today and give it a try.

Thanks
