Yes, just $3 every 6 months, so it's just $6 a year. I live in a veryy small town in KY. I'm not sure why they have to be renewed every 6 months, I would think it would go a long with vaccinations, but it doesn't (not here anyway). The license is through the county, so the price may vary from county to county. The problem is around here most people don't register their dogs, so the low price may be to encourage that. I have never had a dog that wasn't registered & the price hasn't went up in years.
