Get the health guarantee in writing and review it carefully. There should be a general contract too.
The breeder should be equally interested in learning about you and how you plan to care for this pup. If they don't ask about you and are eager to take your payment, that is a bad sign.
Trust your instincts and continue to be patient. You will be much happier when you finally find your pup.
