Ladyjane is a foster home and has MANY dogs in her care over the years with all types of medical issues including Neurological and Orthopedic issues. She is not bashing you but telling you this does not sound correct what you have been told by the ER vet. I have to agree as well. Of my three I have 2 with some degree of LP and I have never seen something like what you experienced. It literally would mean that you have a dog with Grade 4 LP and both legs became dislocated at the same time with no apparent cause. Doodlebug is the most sever and once he took an odd tumble off the back step and carried his leg. He still was able to walk on the other three but would pick up the leg that was out of place. Yes, eventually it did return to normal but it was not an overnight miracle. He was also given a prescription anti inflammatory and pain med. Was this done for you? It just does not seem right IMO.
