KJC you seem like such a dissatisfied consumer. Make a complaint to the hospital and insist to have a sit down with the surgeon. At least start with all the information and ask all your questions. If you don't like what you learn about the care of your dog, seek out the services of a lawyer who can help you with options. I know our state has a complaint process for consumers where one can file a veterinary complaint with the state veterinary board to have the actions peer reviewed. Be sure to tell your lawyer that your vet seems to be on all fours with you about this matter as that may be useful to bolster your concerns/case. I'd like to see you get to the bottom of this for Tink.
