We noticed that Chewie was itching and scratching himself, more so than usual, so we decided to give him a bath. During the bath, it was discovered that he has several bug bites on his tummy. They are small and pinkish-red. I know I haven't seen them before now...
We live in Houston and it has been extremely hot as we are in a drought and there is dust/dirt on everything (it seems) outside. I am guessing with no rain, it is easier for things like ants to thrive?
Chewie seems fine. He has stopped scratching since his bath. Should I call the vet just in case? What do you think?
