I have Teddie on grain free and noticed he was having issues with harder stools. I now give him fruit to help and it has worked. He has strawberries, blueberries, and watermelon (no seeds). I freeze it and give him a piece at a time, he usually gets several in a day, and he loves it. He also likes the baby carrots (organic) that I can buy in the stores and I steam fresh cut green beans for him. He prefers these "treats" to any store bought kind now. He evern has bits of apple chunks (a new fave) with the skin on...just make sure no seeds as they contain cyanide.
