I use a regular collar for Sandy. We tried a harness with her when she first came to us and would have NOTHING to do with it. She was obviously well trained on a collar though, because the second she had one on, she was ready to walk!

Tia is still getting the hang of her harness. I have a kitten harness I bought from Petsmart and she pretty much is dead weight in that. When I put her in a t-shirt with a leash hook, she does MUCH better and we've been making progress with that route, so I'm thinking I might look into one of those vest harnesses for her.
