Some decent brands you can find at Petco are Natural Balance, Merrick, Halo, Blue Buffalo. Some good brands you can usually only find in boutique stores include Nature's Variety, FROMM, Go!/Now!. If you have a tractor supply near you they might carry Taste of the Wild. The most important thing to watch is the fat/protein content because they are soemtimes higher in canned foods and it is harder to read because they give the percentage on the back before it is converted to dry matter.
Good post.

I mainly feed Nature's Variety Instinct and Natural Balance when it comes to canned food.

He is currently eating TOTW Sierra Mountain kibble. He always gets canned mixed in with the dry, unless I have something else to mix in, like leftover chicken, etc.
