I mentioned in previous post that there are more risks with using a reguar leash. THier vocal cords are very sensitive. When I worked in a Vet clinic we would have dogs come in tat couldn't bark anymore, or that had persistant coughs. These were caused by the pulling on the leash. It doesn't have to be continual pulling to cause damage. Some dogs respond better to harness some to neck collars. My mother-in-law has 5 yorkies that she walks, she always taps their botoms with the end of the leash when they are pulling. They hate that so the don't do it often. I know someone who uses a water gun and when their puppy pulls se squirts him, he caught on real quick. Good luck choosing.
