Hi everyone. I am new to the YorkieTalk.com site and if anyone out there can help me I would appreciate it.
I have a beautiful yorkie who is 5 years old and his trachea is collapsing. We have treated the condition with lomotal and then some steriods but it is progressively getting worse. His surgeon suggests inserting a stent to allievate his breathing problem.
Has anyone experienced this with their yorkie and if so, did the dog get the surgery? If yes, how was the dog after the surgery, etc. Please, I love this dog so much and I am torn between getting the surgery done and just maintaining his breathing on meds.
Thanks,
