What kind of leash do you use for your yorkie? I got Archie the holster kind, which you put around his body, and then his left leg comes through and then he does the hokey pokey and turns himself about...

Well, I got that because everyone said that a leash around his neck is really bad for him. But I've had the hardest time trying to get Archie to stay alongside me when I took him out. He'd just go off and he would pull me, instead of just walking next to me. And it seems worse because he's pulling with the weight of his whole body (ribs and all).

Now, I got a regular leash...the one that goes around his neck, and he NEVER pulls. He just walks alongside. I don't really like the idea of the nylon leashes because they can hurt so I got him a cloth one. Either way, it works wonders! He's just strolling alongside like a good boy.

Out of curiosity...what's your preference and why? How is it working out for you? Does your yorkie pull or does he/she walk alongside you when you take him/her out?
