I have two pads down in my apartment. Thor will pee on both, but only poop on one. It's the one furthest from the living room, where we spend most of our time. I think he feels it's more private.
It takes a LOT of vigilence and patience to potty train a yorkie. Six months is still very young. Hang in there!
