The vet says that the swelling is "normal", that the needle they use for the chip is quite big and that's what probably caused it. He says it will go down and it has somewhat but is still there. It doesn't seem to be bothering her and that was his main concern. Her mouth seems to hurt, she keeps pawing at her head. The vet says her gums are probably still sore;and I hope that's all it is. Shes not pawing at mouth but over the eyes near her ear. He said to continue giving her the pain meds.

Other than that, she clearly feels better and it's becoming difficult to keep her calm. She wants to jump around and I was told that the stairs and couch jumping etc. Is a no-no for two weeks. I just want my baby well!
