I just have a few questions. I am trying to get things ready for her if I am able to get the pup. I am looking at getting an xpen along with bedding, food bowls, puppy pads etc. I am not sure what else I need for the new little girl. Does anyone have suggestions? Should I get a crate along with the xpen or is the xpen good enough? I have read different things about puppy pads. Are reusable the best? What is the best food? I have looked at Royal Canin and Eukanuba. Which do you reccommend? This will be our first yorkie and I want to ensure we are prepared for her to come home with us.

Welcome to YorkieTalk! I know you will be so excited about getting a new puppy. Yorkies are little darlings. I have not ever had an xpen so I have no advice here. As far as bedding, let me highly recommend a cloud 9 bed! Well worth the price. You can see them here:

Rosie loves loves loves hers!
Puppy pads, I used the disposable until I could get her trained. Now she only goes outside.
As far as food, I feed Rosie Instinct. But everyone prefers different ones and the dogs prefer different things. Here is another link to help you with food.

The few things you will need that I can think of include a brush, toys, and Nutracal. Keep Nutracal on hand. You may never have to use it but it is best to have it available just in case.
Good luck on your new furbaby. Hope it works out for you!
