This is a good idea to discontinue the Wellness. Just like in people, if there is excessive gas - something is irritating the GI system. Also, very uncomfortable for the pup.

Start by looking at the ingreds in what you were prev feeding; then, compare that label to the Wellness. Try to see what is different - and that may give clues not only to what helps w/ itching, but also what to avoid for the gas.

From there, pick a new food (reading ingreds) based upon what you learned from the previous 2 ingredient labels.

A probiotic may help. I like Dogzymes from Nature's Farmacy.
