well.... interesting points. I do think when a statement is made without any "wiggle room" it is most likely wrong. I feel the right answer always has exceptions. I would be interested in a new thread to discuss the asking for price issue.
But back to the op.... If you want control of the placement of you yorkie you could post in the yorkies for sale.. or you could talk to your groomer and vet (they may know someone who wants a yorkie and would make a great yorkie parent). I do agree.... PLEASE stay away from cl or fb.
If you don't mind giving up the control and you want to KNOW you yorkie has a good home a good rescue would be the answer. I would feel confident going to ladyjane of YHR if I had to place my dog. I know the good of the dog is always first.
