Hmmm I've never heard of gas drops...
No panting or heavy breathing or laying in weird positions. But he hasn't wanted to play all day, because he hasn't eaten so he's lethargic.
Haven't thought of raising his food bowl but will do that also-
On a side note, he will do this sometimes where he won't eat first thing in the morning, then he'll spend all day wanting to lay around and with tummy upset, sometimes throwing up bile from an empty tummy- because he didn't eat in the morning. He's always been a finicky eater and we have to come up with ways to make sure he eats in the morning. It's such a cycle because if we take his food up early in the evening so that he'll be hungry in the morning, he still won't want to eat in the morning. Then he'll start the process again..
