We started Mina out in a Pac n Play (portable playyard/crib for people babies). The floor is vinal and it allowed us to have her in the den where we all are,all of the time. The other 5 dogs could look at her and she them,but noone could touch. This went on all of the first day. Then in the evening we let her have time in the floor,but for only about 10min. The next morning I started her going potty outside with just one of the other dogs (the one I trusted the most). As the day went on the time out of the pac n play was several short visits with her and adding a dog from the pack to potty outside. By day 4 or 5 she was going out with everyone every hour and a half and getting to play with the other dogs. Their ages are 14yrs to 6yrs. I think that they all take turns with who plays with the baby. Good luck with your new baby! |
