Razzle's doctor however sounds wonderful. I can picture the scene above and it brought a smile to my face. Have to love a doctor who understands Razz's pain and fear and acknowledges it in such a loving way. Is this your general vet? Can he not help with the HW treatment for Zoey? I apologize if this has already been answered in this thread - I just don't know much about HW treatment.

Yes Dr Jack is our new general vet; can you imagine I just moved all my animals over to him this year! I remembered him because he impressed me when I took Magic to him for acupuncture tx's about 2 yrs ago. Between our first visit and our second one he had obviously studied up on the breed as he was inquiring about some of the results of the breed specific genetic tests for BRT's.
And yes he is going to help with the heartworm treatment, he will prescribe her the doxy and the heartguard, I get to pick the medicine up on Friday

Also he will call OVC as they won't speak to me about the specifics of their heartworm tx, and will only speak to a referring vet.
