I purchased a female that had reputable lines, I did a stud service checking his lines as well. I didn't breed with out knowing what I was getting into. Of course this is my first yorkie breeding, so anything can happen. I guess anything can happen to anyone regardless of experience. I have always wanted to breed, and I love yorkies. Where I live there doesn't seem to be many reputable breeders. I am not doing it for money, only for the love of having them. I have people that are looking for a good yorkie yet don't want to risk getting involved with a large breeder. I made sure my females lineage was healthy and were DNA registered.. I bred a smaller male to my female, so she would have a safe, well hopefully safe delivery. All breeders start new and I think that if one knows enough, notice I didn't say everything because no one knows that, then breeding your own pups is a great experience. |
