Does she have migraines with aura? They can cause numbness/tingling, I've experienced it before even though the headache itself never came on.
I am guessing the neurologist already looked at this avenue, but thought I would mention it in case s/he didn't.
Either way I'm very sorry your daughter is going through this, I send her well wishes.
