I just started growing out Princess' hair on top so I finally can do a topknot. I like to leave it super loose all of the time so I hope it doesn't bother her at night. I think the comfort of taking it out may be more for us since we sleep on the back of our heads, where the dogs usually sleep with their head up or to the side.
