You've gotten a lot of great advice. When we flew with Ian from ATL-BDL (Hartford), his vet said to give him Benadryl. (I forgot how much.) Well, it did absolutly nothing for him. He was fine until towards the end of the flight...he wanted to be held. I snuck him out of his Sherpa carrier and held him under a very light jacket, until we landed. No one know he was in my lap!! We did not give him any meds on our return flight, and he was fine.
As gaijingirl said, make sure you get your baby is use to his carrier. I would leave Ian's unzipped in the bedroom, and he would jump in it. I then started pulling him around in it, and he loved it. Oh, we got the Sherpa carrier with wheels.
Have fun on your trip...let us know how everything turned out!!
