I would suggest that you work on training your dog to be in whatever carry-on you'll be taking her in. Keep it open in a high traffic area of your home and let your dog go in and out at will. Take her to some places outside your home. Give her some high value treats and praise her for staying calmly in your carry-on.
When I first started trying to acclimate Snickers to his bag, I let him explore it at home. Then, I put him in it and walked around the block a few times. After that, I started taking him to different stores while in his bag.

The hardest part of flying, I found, was layovers and the waiting, because they are supposed to stay in their bag and all pet relief areas seem to be outside, so you have to go through security multiple times.

My vet gave me Acepromazine, but I never used it. I probably never would at this point. You can have it with you and give it only if absolutely needed.
