I agree....the fleas have become immune to most of the topical (Frontline, Revolution, etc.) treatments. Our problem was bad last year and this year seems to be starting out not much better. We've bombed the house, treated the yard, washed and/or vacuumed everything numerous times, treated the dogs, used capstar with little to no affect in curbing the flea problem. I hate cold weather but found myself praying for an early winter this last year.

I'm trying something new to us and less caustic - neem oil. It will take a bit longer to kill fleas than pesticides but hopefully will interrupt the fleas breeding cycle. I just started using the neem a week ago, so it's too early to know if it's working but I have noticed fewer fleas already.
