HAHAHAHA...I'm not laughing at you. If I didn't laugh, I'd cry. I have been to hell and back with Farrah.
I have done everything!! Trainer, breeder recommendations, veterinary work-ups, food changes, routine changes, diapers, etc. I have done it ALL. I would not re-home her, ever. That's the point. I have done everything and she hasn't changed and I haven't given up on her. She is 18 months old now and it is just who she is.
I will say that the breeder wants to take her to some specialist (on her own dime) because we just cannot figure her out. I'll update on that when it happens.
She will ring the bell to go out, go out and do her business, come in and immediately look at me and pee a little spot...like a dime or up to a quarter size. This is just one example of when she will do it.
I do believe that dogs can and do pee for attention. If you want to call it "spite" that is fine too. I understand that dogs don't have the thought process, but they do understand how to get attention...good or bad they don't know the difference, it's just attention. I may be new to Yorkies but I am no stranger to dogs and successful ownership.
Thank you for your post.
