Only one of the many houses we visited had a shelter the other people did not seem concerned about it at all.
Can any of you explain to this Englishman why every home does not have a storm shelter to protect people from a twister. ??

I confess that it is a similar situation here in Florida with hurricanes. We cannot have basements here due to the water table
But most up north have basements ~ I think Texas may be an exception??
