Well, I looked up the ingredients because I hadn't heard of it and I was curious

. I was actually surprized by the ingredient list lol, but there were a few things that freaked me out a bit. These are copied from dog food advisor.com who gave it 3 out of 5 stars. Everything honestly looks fine except for the few controversial ingredients - it deffinatly looks miles better than any other Purina product I've ever looked at but here's the "iffy" stuff:
The seventh ingredient includes
animal fat.
Animal fat is a generic by-product of rendering… the same high-temperature process used to make meat meals.
Since there’s no mention of a specific animal, this item could come from almost anywhere… restaurant grease, slaughterhouse waste, diseased cattle… even
euthanized pets.
For this one - the holistic brands use a specific NAMED fat - chicken fat is usually the most common.
we find no mention of
probiotics… friendly bacteria applied to the surface of the kibble after processing.
(not a hugely big deal, you can suppliment, but at the price I'm sure you'd dish out for this food, that would be an added expence that you wouldn't have with something else)
Thirdly, the
minerals listed here do not appear to be
chelated. And that can make them more difficult to absorb. Non-chelated minerals are usually associated with lower quality dog foods.
This next one is the only one that scares me and I have no clue on the face of the earth why Purina insists on putting this in every dog food they make, it's irritating honestly:
And lastly, this Purina One Beyond product contains
menadione… a
controversial form of vitamin K linked to liver toxicity, allergies and the abnormal break-down of red blood cells.
Your pups probably like it because they put "natural flavoring" in there to make it tasty. I was told by a holistic pet store owner that that could even be from skunk meat

. Dogs love the taste of gross things lol and the label only says "natural flavoring", so who knows what it is.
Sooo, it's of course up to you, but this is what my little 5 minute research came up with.
