 There's A Duck In Our Pool
Last week we opened our pool and the other night all the dogs were sitting on our deck. I went into the house for a minute to asnswer the phone. All of a sudden I heard the dogs going crazy. They were barking on top of their lungs. I ran outside because I thought they were in some kind of trouble and swimming inside the pool was a wild duck just quacking away and having a ball. I ran in to get my camera but he flew away. It was really funny because my basset hound Cleo was standing on top of the pool steps barking her head off and the duck was just ignoring her. My neighbor said they sometimes go into the inground pools but he's never seen one in an above ground pool. It took me an hour to calm the dogs down. |
