Gale, I have used mane and tale on my maltese and baby shampoo my malt and yorkie, I sometimes alternate with one of those and a good quality dog shampoo. Mia's breeder actually recomended ThermaSilk. In addition to PetSilk I have also used Chrissy Systems. I will say that after bathing Mia in baby shampoo that she doesn't seem to look as shiney as long and her hair matted easier. Also wanted to tell everyone that I knew someone whom worked at a dog grooming salon that told me they use Palmolive dish liquid on all the dogs..I'm sure the clients don't know but it does make me wonder how many places use dish liquid and hide it from us. Then I was told by a lady I work with whom has a rescued Greyhound that Greyhound rescue told her to shampoo her dog with Palmolive..said it was great to keep fleas away. Has anyone ever heard that before? I just found it odd that 2 people mentioned palmolive as a dog shampoo.
