Hello... I answered an ad on Craigslist today about a 3yr old, 5lb yorkie. He is not neutered. I have had him for only 2 hrs & so far, he has hiked his leg on everything!! I figured that since he wasn't neutered & I have 4 other yorkies, that he would mark his territory. I have made him a little make-shift belly band until I can get to the store to buy one. I have never used one before, so I am not sure how long I should leave it on. Of coarse, I will take it off when he goes outside with the others, but my other dogs also use their pee pad. When he went over to smell the pad, he wanted to pee, but has the belly band on, poor thing!!
I'm not really sure how long I should leave it on, or even how to use one properly. HELP!!
