Uno Baby, I have friends that have flown their dogs in cargo to and from Hawaii with no problems to the west coast. That is about 5 hrs flight time plus a bit for loading and unloading.
I'm attaching a link to the Hawaii quarantine rules in case you don't already have it. The rabies shots done and documented at the right time before arriving is essential, plus the blood testing, so make sure you are on top of it now with a vet who will document properly, so you can qualify for the 5 day quarantine. Otherwise, you could end up here and have your dog go into quarantine for 120 days.
