Yes. The simple reason is that Tatiana is a dog-version of me. We are petite, have similar personalities, and we sort of look alike (like how some dog owners and their dogs look alike). Very often, when we go out, we are color-coordinated, too. (Tatiana's hair bow and harness matches my outfit. It's laughable, I know).
If my S.O. loves me, he would love Tatiana. If he doesn't love Tatiana, well, I would presume he doesn't love me either.
Incidentally, my husband adores Tatiana. He gushes over her, and calls her "a princess." And yes, he treats me the same way.
