We've never had one in this area. There is going to be a "Yorkie Day" close to us in Reading, PA, end of June. That is run by a local yorkie rescue group. We are going to try to go; both of us really believe in the work that rescues do. |
People who go to the other one are looking to buy puppies. They often do not realize what the deal is....in spite of the education out there, many people really do not understand what puppy mills are about. They see darling puppies and don't think about where they came from.
Yorkie Day sounds fun! That is nice that you support rescue!
