I decided I would try giving Ada a bit of a haircut.... Keep in mind my extent of 'cutting dogs' hair' is trimming papillon feet. So.... yeah... I just took a bit off her legs and the stuff that was in her eyes and took some thinning shears to her to even her coat out a bit. I realized I started trying to do her back legs like papillons (trim clean from hock down) and that didn't work too well on a yorkie coat. It might not be the 'best' haircut but I'm hoping at least I won't have to be pulling all kinds of sticks and leaves and junk out of her leg hair like I had to do daily before. I swear, everything just sticks to her coat. I have to bathe and groom her about 5 times as often as the paps and she still doesn't look as good. lol
I can never tell if all the grooming I'm doing actually shows. She always looks like a scraggly mutt.
So here she is the first day we found her:

She's fitting in well... almost too well. We've had her a month and I really really don't want to see her go.

Still not sure what breed she is. I think new hairdo makes the yorkie in her more apparent.
