Sometimes the CO will make their ears a bit red for a day or two, especially if they have a problem going on with their ears... did with mine anyway. The CO heats up to their body temp too it seems... don't know it this causes some of the redness or not. I get a good bit of CO down in the ear canal and massage the area on the side of the neck where the ear canal is, then let them shake their head to remove the excess. I think it coats the ear really well so gunk and stuff moves out easier.
Mine don't mind it at all, even my cats accept it well (they eat it too!)(I think I have weird cats though)  . | Thanks!!
