Yeast can be difficult to get rid of. Can take months.

CO tends to soak into the skin and hair. When I oiled my dog's coat, she didn't appear to be attracting that much more 'dirt' than usual, not enough to make me stop using it for that purpose.

For open wounds it coats the wound, keeping the dirt out. The wound should still be cleaned and fresh oil applied daily.
