Glad to hear your little one is doing better. The diet change is likely the cause. Going from Innova to Orijen is a big change. Feeding too much of the Orijen may also have contributed to loose stools (common problem with overfeeding). He would need a lot less Orijen than he was eating of Innova. (pay no attention to feeding guidelines on food bags...they recommend too much)
Sometimes a food just doesn't work for a dog. I tried Acana, the lower protein brand made by the same manufacturer of Orijen, and it simply did not work for Max. He dried out and was constipated.
