I finally have a day off tomorrow and I got off work at 4, I'm going through my things tonight to donate. I also have brand new stuff in my basement for when I get my own place to donate those as well to someone who may need household items. As of today the wind has picked up again and there are two new fires in the Kinuso area burning out of control and the residents are being told to be ready to evacuate at a moments notice. I was also told that Driftpile reserve had a new fire start not long ago and they are on alert. High Prairie at this time continues to be fine, thank goodness. We currently have 1200 people that have been evacuated in town. I just pray no fires start or reach this area. I pray for rain. We have more help on the way to AB as well. In times like these it is something else to see people come together to help. |
