I only use flea/tick meds during the late spring to early fall. In my opinion, as long as she is acting fine, I wouldn't worry about it. I have heard of people giving half doses since our dogs are so small. Smokey is about 11 lbs and Chip is about 7 lbs, so I thought about splitting one dose between the two of them because the weight range is 2.5 lbs to 20 lbs. I haven't decided yet.

Thank you for your reply. I think I will continue the Vectra as long as she is okay, which she definitely seems to be! However, next time I do plan on using a half dose... it did seem like an awful lot of medication the first time.
